Nicolo, Puppetworks' marionette mascot

is a not-for-profit corporation, established 1980 in New York City by a group of theatre artists under the direction of Nicolas Coppola, and dedicated to preserve and present Classic Puppet Theater entertainment, with special emphasis on the hand-carved wooden Marionette.

PUPPETWORKS plays are as faithful as possible, in language and situations, to source material - primarily Children's Literature and International Folk and Fairytales.

Job Opportunities

PUPPETWORKS will accept resumes for Puppeteer positions (only).  We have no ongoing need for writers / designers / builders / secretaries.  Though performances are presented with hand-carved wooden marionettes, experience with marionettes is not essential; however a genuine interest in marionette theatre for children is.
You may forward your resume via e-mail to: puppetworks@verizon.net
or by mail or drop off to: Puppetworks, 338 6th Ave, Brooklyn, NY  11215.
